To create a new rab?ba, a tumbura devotee normally takes two picket bowls (of acceptable condition and materials), applies incense to them, and sacrifices pigeons. The bowls will be buried for forty times, and guests would appear and slumber on the bottom close to the place they had been buried. The brand new rab?bas (made out of the buried bowls)
